NEWS & EVENTS

This section will serve as somewhat of a timeline of important events related to me as an author and my literary works.

2011

- Benjamin Shepherd Quiñones writes the rough draft of his first ever novel for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) during his first semester of college.

2013

- After quite a bit of revising and editing, The Gene Pull is finally published, thanks to G and J Publishing

- The Gene Pull makes the Honor Roll at True Colorz and continues to get positive reviews on Goodreads.

- True Colorz interviews Benjamin as a featured author for their blog and hosts a Giveaway in his honor.

- Goodreads also hosts a Giveaway and 10 signed copies of The Gene Pull are distributed throughout the globe.

2014

- Benjamin competes in Harmony Ink Press's Young Author Challenge and wins with his short story, Glitterhead. The story is then published as a part of an anthology titled Harmonious Hearts.

2016

- After a few previous, failed attempts (Fish Boy, Paranormal Club, etc.), Benjamin has begun writing again! Already 10 chapters in, Benjamin is confident in finishing this one. Stay tuned!

2017

- The Gene Pull is translated into Spanish and published by Babelcube Inc.
